POLICY PLANNING AND TRAINING COORDINATION UNIT LEADS DEVELOPMENT OF ANNUAL WORK PLANS FOR ALL UNITS
The Policy, Planning, and Training Coordination Unit spearheaded a series of meetings throughout this week with Commissioners of Police and their operational chiefs, station officers, and administrative assistants from Banjul, Kanifing Municipality, West Coast Region, and North Bank Region.
These meetings aimed to provide guidance and support in developing their respective Annual Work Plans, crucial for monitoring the implementation progress of the National Policing Strategic Plan 2024 – 2028.
Each region and independent units are mandated to formulate detailed annual work plans, encompassing objectives, strategies/activities, outputs, timeframe, required resources, and responsible personnel.
The discussions ensure that police activities align with the strategic priorities and operational objectives outlined in the five-year strategic plan.
Similar engagements are scheduled for the upcoming week with Commissioners from Lower River Region, Central River Region, and Upper River Region, alongside their respective teams.
