ISLAMIC SCHOLARS REACTS ON “LAYLAT AL-QADR” (THE NIGHT OF POWER).

As the Holy month of Ramadan entered its final ten days, all Muslims are yearning to witness the most important night, as prescribed by the messenger of Allah (PBUH). its believed that, this night commemorates the night Allah revealed the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad. which happens to fall in the last ten days of the Ramadan.
Speaking to this medium was Imam Abubacarr janneh, who highlights the importance of laylatul kadir. according to him, No specific day is identified to be the actual date for laylatul kadir”.
He narrated that, the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), received the Holy Quran from Allah through Angel Jibrīl, who conver God’s words to him, starting with asking him to Red. and that felt on laylatu kadir day. it was a moment were Allah sent him the actual day, but according to history and records m, kn prophet’s way to inform his people, he was believed to have met two people fighting. due to that period of easing the fight Allah the make him to forget the actual day. He continue to say that the scholars have different perspective on how the day is been narrated but one thing for sure according to him is that, the day of laylatul kadir is between 26th to 29th of the months of Ramadan.
Imam kalipha janneh, the imam Ratib of Supreme Islamic Council’s mosque also echoed the same sentiments, he continue to remind the Muslim ummah kn different ways to observe this most important night, as described by the messenger of Allah. which among them is the supplication, given our charity, Quran recitation, praying certain number of Rakhas”, or go to the Masgid to perform Itikaaf” which are all ways of getting an uncountable rewards in that particular night.
He was also quick to remind women on their reason of leaving certain number of days out from fasting, which is the period they wil be in their mensural period. at this period, they are not clean, so they shouldn’t keep fast or pray,
but accordingto the imam, they can either praise the names of Allah or by doing Duhas”. He further says that laylatul kadir is only one night but the best nights among all nights. It was the night when angel gibril(AS) will come down to earth with other angels to mark the night.
Ibrahim Hassan cham, a scholar also tool tike to shed light on Laylatul kadir”, a night of peace and a night of blessings. and to him, Muslims should try by all means to seek the blessings of Allah.
He also said the actual day for laylatu kadir is not specify but it’s among the days of the last ten days of the month of Ramadan. which every Muslim should endeavour to gain rewards from Allah. Laylat al-Qadr is the night when angels descend to bring guidance from Allah; as such, the boundaries between human and divine are thinner than on other nights, deeds of faith are more significant, and guidance is surer.
is a Night of Decree, or Night of Destiny incites a thousand months’ worth of rewards in a singular eve. If one executes any acts of goodwill on this night, they reap the rewards of having performed the good deed for a thousand months (83 years).
